Becky Jo has served in ministry for 26 years. She has a deep passion for taking scripture and making it relevant in people's lives through preaching and teaching, personal and pastoral conversations. The call of the church is to nurture and grow one another, while turning its focus outward by serving those in need.


Director of Music

Megan Peterson is the Director of Music which includes leading the varied music ensembles and helping to choose the worship songs that enhance, enrich, and bring depth to worship. She has been serving churches for over 10 years and has been at EPUMC since 2019.  With her husband, Andy, and three children, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and working on many home renovation projects.


Director of Children's Minsitry

Rachel and her husband, Randy, joined the congregation in 2012 and are raising their three children at Eden Prairie United Methodist Church. She joined our staff in 2019. She finds joy in working with children and helping them grow in their faith. She creates a space where kids can be themselves and support spiritual well-being.  Rachel has worked with the Hopkins Special Education Advisory Committee to help parents and school staff work together to support families, advise decision makers and advocate for students.



Office Manager

Becky joined the staff in summer 2015. She enjoys connecting people with resources, as well as providing the administrative support necessary for ministry. She is especially interested in how we share faith stories through various media, including social media. She is active in United Methodist Women through her home church and PAUMCS, professional administrators group.



KT is an organist, pianist and accordion player. Her experience includes rehearsal and performance pianist for regional theaters and singing with the Minnesota Chorale.Her hobbies include acrylic and watercolor painting and being on Minnesota's rivers and lakes.

Youth Ministry Coordinator

Hannah comes to us with a teaching background among middle and high school youth, as well as prior youth ministry leadership experience, specifically as a youth ministry intern during her college years. She has a passion for youth and strong relationship building skills. As a lifelong United Methodist, Hannah shares the inclusive theology that is foundational at Eden Prairie United Methodist Church. She has already successfully been functioning as a volunteer leader in youth ministry since early summer, helping us launch our fall program with strength and creativity.



Rick has been cleaning up since 2004. Rick and his wife, Sybil, have been members since 1982 and have three sons and five grandkids. All three sons were confirmed and two were married here at EPUMC.

Digital Discipleship Lead

Brianna has been married to Rob since 2013. William was born in 2015 and Jack rounded out their family in 2018. 

In 2020, Brianna started my own company designing websites for women-owned businesses. She also freelances as a social media manager and works part-time at MSP Airport in Customer Communications.

In 2021, she joined the Digital Discipleship Team, helping with social media strategy, graphic design, and well... building this website. 



Kay came to Eden Prairie UMC with her mom as she was growing up. She loved her time here as a youth and is excited to work with the youngest children.

My path to working at Eden Prairie United Methodist Church has felt, meant to be. The current is a great start, Eric [Peterson] has done a wonderful job. I look forward to our next steps with the Live Streaming. I love growing with the creative process, tools, and challenges. Thanks for having me.
